Hi I’m Chloe and this is my All About Me post I hope you like it!

In the Hinaki Hub we have been doing Christmas Activities, this was my first activity we had to make word art it is very easy to make. I am going to do even more activitys  so make sure you all look at them!

We are going on on camp next week. We have been doing lots of activities to get us prepared. This is one of the activities we did.

The word of  the week is Shield. I have completed a word map about the meaning,  spelling,  and origins of the word Shield. The spelling rule I have learnt about in this word is IE The most Interesting thing that I learnt about this word is that the Origin language is Old English.  Check out my word map to see all the facts about the word Shield!

In spelling we have been learning about the origins + meanings of different words for our etymology study. The word I chose to research is sufficient. I found it interesting that the meaning is adequate for a purpose, enough. Check out my etymology slide to see what I have done!

In Hīnaki 2 for spelling we have Etymology and we chose one word out of four. We have to write the meaning, use it in a sentence, write the root word, write the Synonyms,  write the Antonyms, and the Origin language.

This holiday we have a winter learning journey  and this is the second activity I have done for it so far I have made a hibernation hut

and this I have made pancakes and made them into a snowman shape and added a moustache mouth and eyes with raisins and butter as buttons and maple syrup for fun!

I chose to make a hibernation nest/hut I used my brother’s soccer goal, a rope, to hold it up just in case, two poles and, two sheets.
